FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN SHOULD I RSVP?
Please RSVP by May 5, 2026.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
“Black tie preferred” means we invite guests to dress formally. For men, this typically means a tuxedo or dark suit, and for women, a long evening gown, cocktail dress, or other elegant attire. It’s an opportunity to celebrate in an elegant, festive style!
WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?
Our ceremony and reception will both take place at the same venue. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM, so we recommend arriving about 15–20 minutes early to allow time to get settled. After the ceremony, we’ll transition directly into our New Orleans–style cocktail reception with food, drinks, music, and plenty of time to celebrate together. The evening will include a festive second line - true New Orleans style.
WHAT IS A COCKTAIL STYLE RECEPTION?
After the ceremony, we’ll be celebrating with a New Orleans–style cocktail reception! Instead of a traditional seated dinner, the evening will feature a lively atmosphere with passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations, cocktails, music, and plenty of time to mix, mingle, and dance. It’s a fun and festive way to celebrate—very much in the spirit of New Orleans!
ARE KIDS WELCOMED?
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration.
Thank you for understanding and making arrangements in advance.
WHERE SHOULD I STAY?
We’ve reserved room blocks at a few hotels with special rates for our guests. You can find booking details on our Travel & Stay page. Because the venue is right in the heart of the city, there are also many hotels within a 15-minute walk, please feel free to stay wherever is most convenient for you.
HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE? IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
If you are staying in the French Quarter or the Warehouse District, the venue is approximately a 5–15 minute from all nearby hotels. It is also a short 5-minute Uber or rideshare trip. If you plan to drive, there are several parking lots and street parking options available near the venue.
